There's a bit of a network around that last lane we did that dropped down into Hindhead and a few others in the area, yeah the 'step' was good fun could start around there and then cover some new ground too

Did like the step.
Anyone want to take a guess what this is, it came out my gearbox when i changed oil. Dosent look like it has sheared/broken at all all sides are machined. Some kind of key? All seems to work ok without it. Nice and smooth now i have changed oil too.

looks like a sipper pad from a synchro hub, it would need cleaning to be positive

Cheers, that makes alot of sense as did have issues with scncro on a couple of gears but seems ok now changed oil.

The rear silencer on my 110 has broken loose. I'm not looking to put a S/S system on at this time as I'm saving pennies for the Series 2 rebuild. John Craddock Spares and Paddock Spares have the mild steel systems but both seem to be Britpart. Anyone have experience of Britpart exhausts ? Is there a better alternative supplier someone has used ?

I tend to use Bearmach for repro parts, seem to be ok quality, try island 4x4 at Maidstone or Crafted Ovals in tenterden, both do mail order, got a blower motor from islands with free next day delivery.

Get from a proper parts place. Get Bosal or something - won’t be much more but will be better.

I had a britpart back box before the tdi and the baffles came loose in it within a few months.

Does everyone want me to sort a route or does someone else want a go?

You did a great job with that last route mate would be great if you wanted to plan another one.

I bought two new SD cards for the camera and a new suction mount for the camcorder to stick on the bottom of the windscreen, my action cam records sound but no video the useless thing, was OK when I had it under the drone last time :(

Just gotta test drive my Disco after the output bearings and good to go :D

Just gotta find and fit an aerial for the cb, fitted it already but not found a mount that I like that fits where I want to fit it.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll do some surfing and avoid the Britpart stuff
I went for a Bearmach system in the end, arrived today and look good. Heavy gauge steel and 3 year warranty. complete system for £110. And the weekend looks good weather perfect for crawling under the old girl. Wire brush and underseal at the ready to keep the chassis coated whilst I'm there :)
