Evening, I live on the Kent/East Sussex and having recently moved to the area I don't know anyone or any lanes so it would be ace to go out with some like minded company!!

Hi , I live near Eastbourne. Just bought 110 300tdi. Would be good to meet up for a bit of Green Laning if anyone knows a route or 2.

Hi guys, I live in sunny Eastbourne and own a Series 1 Discovery, Series 2a 109 and a 110. I would be interested in joining some Greenlane trips around the area and I have already explored some of the local ones but they are becoming few and far between so if anyone has knowledge I would love to hear.

I went to one off the A22 at Hailsham which goes through Robin Post Wood trail, one end was open but there is a large metal post at the other end which stopped the track. Had to do a long reverse and U turn which was interesting in the rain. There is another one shown off Marshfoot Lane, has anyone tried this one ?

I know East Sussex very well indeed and should be around for a spot of green laning from mid-Nov onwards. There are some great lanes around Crowborough through to the Ashdown Forest that I know of. Is there a local LR club ?

The Robin post lane metal post retracts into the ground, just stand back or you get soaked when you drop it down. I reckon the scariest east Sussex lanes are Horse eye level and Marshfoot lane near Hailsham. Almost went into a water filled ditch on marshfoot. And got stuck on horse eye level! There's some good youtube vids of horseye showing a very stuck Suzuki.

Thanks White_Disco for the information about the metal post, it was raining hard when I went so didn't get out to look. I'll give the lane another try.

Hi folks are any of you still floating around? I'm in Hastings, been laning a couple of times but would be good to have some other people locally to go with, I know most of the Sussex lanes are shut till end of March but would be keen to check some of them out after that, or up into Kent or Surrey in the meantime.

Hi, I'm still around. I did a run near Firle last autumn which was nice, except on last trip a tree had fallen over and was too low for my roof rack to go under so had to remove it and carry it past the tree. Joys of laning.... I'll be up for a get together to do some more laning when they are open.

Awesome, I know the lane at Firle, at least, I know where the other end of it is at Alfriston, the one at Jevington looks good too.

im up for that only in surrey!! just got my landy couple bits needs fixed (its 1.8L so it will break a lot) then im well up for it if you know the roots
