Got a hard fault with my suspension after putting it in off road height to unload a car off the trailer, suspension went higher than I've ever seen an L322 and broke.
I've let the air out now but as it was a hard fault it's gonna need a reset. Is there anybody around the Manchester area with an EAS reset tool who could reset it for me so I can go to work tonight to make more money to be swallowed by the Range Rover.
I will obviously pay and come to you, any and all help greatly appreciated .

Thanks . 20161105_221029.jpg

Golly that's high. Have you visually checked height sensors to check they are still intact?

Good call, no I haven't, are they known for pulling out?

My front one snapped at the ball joint/ pivot point.

The rears, the plastic at the bottom where it mounts was seriously deteriorating/breaking up.

My money's on a height sensor if it's gone that high ....

I put it up that high in a way, I had nearly 2 tonnes of Audi on my trailer and lifted the suspension to off road setting, took the Audi off the trailer and Bobs ya mothers brother. 12" lift on an L322 lol.

Anybody used one of these? Apparently can reset hard faults and other Range Rover wizardry .
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222159245820

I bought the CR plus http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/iCarsoft-...770510?hash=item43bf81e78e:g:hLwAAOSwSdZWdDEZ

Earlier in the year for my Alfa. It works fine and I've used it on a few other cars no issues.
However, it's pretty vague on the RR I wouldn't get one specifically for the RR, you want/ need something more focused. I've got all comms and a hawkeye for RR. I'd go for all comms.
HTH

I wouldn't do it again! Your lucky it didn't blow a bag

The issue is simple.......

You had 2 tonnes on a trailer.....the rear suspension is compressed so the system pumped more pressure in to compensate and maintain the vehicle on the level......you then removed the weight, the extra pressure suddenly raised the rear end beyond normal travel.

With the doors closed and the engine running the system should have let the pressure out and releveled as necessary.

Or the transfer of weight on the trailer as the Audi rolled off lifted the back of the L322 up.....

Thats exactly what happened Mr Saint, engine wasn't running so extra pressure and no weight = 1/2 hour under the car letting air out of the air bags and £220 for the All Comms.
If I wanted an easy life I wouldn't have a range rover lol.

I'll let you know when it comes but update. . . . . . . I've got a mate with a Snap On Solus diagnostic machine and thought we'd have it a go, into the air suspension section, clear codes and done, back to normal.
Only cost me a tenner but I'm sure the AllComms will come in useful in some other way.

Ye, definitely a follower and not a little job so left it tapping away for a bit. Don't really hear it inside with the windows shut so not annoying me too much. I'll get it done one weekend when I'm feeling brave.

Probably a summer job although I took the undertray, fan and ancillary belt off mine 3 times at the weekend to try and stop it squeaking and I found annoyance and frustration keep out the cold really well but the days are too short this time of year if you are working outside
