Hi all.
Ive been around most air suspension problems with my Range Rover now. But this ones new.
My hawkeye shows that when the compressor runs to fill the tank it's running but the tank pressure drops off to zero. The compressor sounds laboured as if the pipe is blocked.
I pulled the compressor pipe off in the boot and there's plenty of pressure coming from the pump. The pumps about six months old. I can't hold my finger over the end of the pipe when it's running.
So I'm thinking it may be the valve block that sits behind the air tank.
Has any one come across the problem before?
I assume it diverts the air flow from compressor to tank and tank to air bags.

Thanks

Valve block will be full of rusty gunk before buying a new one strip it and clean it as the last post says rs2000 did a good write up about it

Thanks all. I must admit I did see that thread.
I had already stripped my valve block down and it's spotless and shiny inside.
I fitted a second valve block which I had spare on a reservoir i bought for £20.00 but that seems to have a problem with two of the solenoids. I'm getting a valve plausibility error with that one, but I'm hoping to make a good unit from the two. After looking at the way the valve block works (its pretty simple really) I suspect the issue is with the large solenoid in the centre of the block which controls pump pressure to air bags or reservoir.

I'm a bit further down the road with this now. Valve block is fine. I put it back together ran round london all evening with it. Got home and the problems back. The pressure in a reservoir rapidly drops when the compressor runs.
Does anyone know if the compressor is exposed to full tank pressure when filling the reservoir? or is their a one way valve between compressor and reservoir? there isn't one in the valve block.
If not it must be a problem with the compressor. It must be leaking air at a fair rate while trying to fill the reservoir.
