Hi,

I've an early 90 that I am trying to get back on the road. The original rear axle is in very poor order and leaking badly and a little while ago I acquired a matching axle or as close as I can see. The original axle number is indecipherable but the new one starts 22S29 and it came with a much nicer condition A frame which I'd also like to use. Both axles are 10 inch drums

I have found it difficult to establish which A frame ball joint to order....on my parts list there are three types but I have no chassis number from the donor vehicle to give me a clue and axle numbers don't seem relevant.

If I order a Paddocks britpart/bearmach fulcrum and prefitted ball joint would this solve the problem. All the bolts seem the same length so can I assume the fulcrum are the same width and length? I think Gwyn Lewis do a similar greasable and adjustable one

I searched the forum before I posted but couldn't seem to get anything relevant...apologies if I've missed a previous thread

Many thanks
