dvi connector

ok been searching tinterweb for the last 30 mins and I cant find what im after so im hoping theres some pc bods on ere that can help

im after a recessed metal panel to put in the rear of my main rack pc console (not a tower) I use for djing we currently have a panel with 3 vga connectors in it but now have plasma screens that are dvi

so hence we need a panel that we can house the dvi sockets in in

ive found a panel I could possibly put dvis in but I cant find a dvi to dvi connector I can mount in the panel so I can come from the back of the pc and plug into that panel to give me external connections,all the dvis I have found have been dvi to vga convertors not just straight dvi to dvi

anyone pls?

anything goes better?

could you not use dvi to dvi connectors with cable in the middle? shortest i can see are 1.5 meters though...or is ther any reason you could use vga to dvi?

dvi 1, 2, analogue or digital?

yes cos my outputs are dvi not vga anymore

digital I believe if I tell you the soundcard would that be of any help?

I mean graphic card

Canford do a DVI patch panel, oyud need some short DVI cables to link the PC to it tough, its about all I can think of.
no chance of hdmi? neutrik do a nice range of those that fit a D cutout

there is hdmi on the plasmas but weve bought all the dvi splitters and leads now,

i will need the pinouts used and the length of the connecting leads.

the cables only need to be 20-30cm long to reach from back of rack pc to the rear of the flightcase I will ask my mate the pinouts used

can yu mount the sockets directly to the flightcase, or do you want a mounting plate?

a mounting plate ideally recessed so we don't damage the sockets

no not really ive got about 6 of them that's just a lead,im after a mounting plate with sockets in..i think mhm is on the case as hes the lz guru of all things to do with wire

externally mounted

if I mount a flat panel on the inside then u will see the thickness of the wood of the flightcase and im a fussy fecker

would it help if I took a pic of the existing panel?

if its mounted on the outside, then the connectors will be proud, unless yu can get a recessed plate.....
