first go at changing swivels the offside went pretty much O.K no left over bits!!

Driverside i've got one washer left which won't fit behind the circlip on the drive hub, got one skinny washer back but can't fit the thicker one. Have used gaskets & also gasket sealer could this be why the washer won't fit now (or) has it not located properly (or) is the new rubber oil seal rubber not fitted in enough?

Does it matter that there is now only one skinny washer behind the circlip?

Cheers

if cv is pulled through correctly it wont matter ,gaskets are about 12 thou thick on average if lr ones used, and you dont fit them if wernt fitted as built as it does alter shimming and dimensions, its usual to use one of the drive member bolts in end of shaft to keep pulled out fully while the other bolts are nipped up,shims are used to keep cv in right place for swivel to turn
