Door lock, lock or barrell?

Eh'yup,

I discovered this morning that my passenger door is easily opened even when locked!! Why am I not surprised?

I've got the old style lift up handles not the new push button jobbies; so is this going to be the lock barrell that's shagged, or the handle/lock body, does anyone know?

I would think it would be the lock body, my barrel was knackered, so it means you can open it with any old implement, would lock fine.
my moneys on a worn/broken linkage somwhere.
