Guys,

Maybe it is fate and my rangey doesn't want to leave me - I've got a potential buyer coming to visit in minutes few. My drivers door handle has stopped working this morning since he called me. Literally could not be worse timing. Obviously not going to be fixed in the next couple of minutes, but anyone got any idea what might have caused this or experienced it themselves?

Details: L322 2003 Vogue
Symptoms: Handle still moves outwards, but clearly has come detached from whatever it attaches to inside as their is no resistance to pulling it at all.

Any help massively appriciated!!

Don't know owt about L322 but if you read other post on here there is something about a plastic clip on handle. In that case removing handle and pulling cable with pliers maybe an option. Just a thought.

My Mum has an early L322 and this was a bit of a problem when the weather was cold and snowy, I never did get to the bottom of it but I did manage to get it open by pouring very hot water on the door by the handle/lock. At the time it was like the drivers side was dead locked - very odd it was too.

I even tried to get the door card off to see if there was any adjustment on the handle/lock mechanism but couldn't get in to the door (or at least not without damage). So Yes I have seen this but afraind I can't say what it was. If you find out let us know!
