Got another question, but its a bit off topic so I'll stick it on another thread

Can't tell if its lean, look menthol to me, which is a definate no no....Have you got a picture of the packet? I'm on Richmond regulars at the moment n they seem to hit the spot..:D

any ideas how this chap got on with his plugs/mixture??

...or did they foul up when he went too far rich, n he's borken down somewhere without net access??

Lol, not had a chance to whip out a plug and check yet. However, I've talk to a few mate one of which came up with an interesting idea.

I set my mixture screws to get max rpm at idle, which is correct right? this gave me a lean looking plug. I've set it richer now which may have solved the plug colour, but now it's gonna be running overly rich at idle surely. Which probably means I had the setting correct first time but I need to rejet the carb.

Does this make sence to anyone....?

P.s. my b&h was burning just fine thanks ;)

this is the jetting issue I was talking about with the p6 guys.

have your tried a colourtune, or even better a pair of them, one on each bank. they are cheap as chips on ebay and at car boots and save a lot of messing.

I am going to check mine with it again after the su's are run in

B & H is hardcore...you must be a wealthy man. I just smoke the floor sweepings that are Richmond.! lol

Yeah, those colourtunes are great value. Much of it is how you interpret the subtles of colour change. But they do atleast give ya an idea.
Are you getting any flat spots on acceleration. Had an old FIAT that was a bitch until I rejetted the carb properly.
