Do you do any checks on advertisers?!

This site contains affiliate links for which LandyZone may be compensated if you make a purchase.

Scotland,
Seemingly, particularly crappy site advertising on Landyzone.
I understand that websites are a nice cash generator, for some sites, this site being one of them. Personally, I never click the ads. If I like the look of something I google it and check reviews etc.
As such, I did so with the site below. Having looked at the reviews, I am left to wonder, do the Admin/Owners really want to be linked with and push members towards a site like it? Not everyone is diligent, or even computer savvy. Perhaps someone could do a simple check on the advertisers before allowing them bandwidth?

This is why i block as many ads as i can, not only do i don't see the drivel and have it destroy the site in looking at, but also so they don't harvest my device for data

As far as I'm aware admin/owners have no control over advert content (as opposed to sponsors )which is generated by google.

They do have control over the frequency of ads but rather than a cash generator they provide enough for LZ to survive.

I can't say I click ads but if more members did we would suffer fewer of them.

Most of the adds I see have a report option. You can report as unsafe or whatever. It's a report to the company putting the adverts there, not LZ. You will see the word report in the corner if it's possible to report.

I don't think I've ever seen ads for knitwear. I'm seeing ads for things like jacks and hydraulic presses, and occasionally some of the major power tool retailers. A lot of it seems to relate to thinks I've been looking at outside Landyzone, so I'd always assumed this was to do with tracking my browsing habits and cookies.

Tis cookies and Google.
