Do all TD5 discos do this or just mine???

When i unlock the car, all lights come on. when i open the drivers door, all lights come on. Open Any other doors, no lights which is really handy at night.

Its like there isnt a sensor on any other door, or they are all fooked. Confused!!!!

My td5...the lights come on when opening the car with the remote key fob. Also any door opening triggers the interior lights. After ~20 mins though (for instance if loading into the back door) all the lights go out...

it could be dodgy switches on all three doors or it could be a fault with the multi function unit... looking at the wiring diagram in Rave the door switches are only wired to the MFU so I would say that is the most likely culprit

right ok. so where is the MFU? IS that an expensive bit to replace?

I have this constant problem of water coming in when it rains, so the car is often damp. I cant find where its coming in either. Already tried to seal the sunroofs. Might have to give it another go.

Anyway back to topic, any info on this MFU would be appreciated.

sorry not sure if it is the same on a TD5, mine's a 2008.. so the rave cd I have matches mine...

if it is the same the MFU is on the back of the fuse box in the drivers footwell.. not sure if it is suppose to be repairable but I have heard that there can be dry joint issues and a gentle touch with a bit of solder can sort them out..

the interior lights come on and stay on until the engine is started or 20mins is up very weird but normal try turning the drivers interior light off with the ignition off then restart yer engine hahahaha ill leave you to figure that one out for yerself hahahaha took me a while
