the 8 speed automatic gearbox? I thought they did.

About to buy one, it's the face lifted version (pop up gear selector and digital dash) and it has the 4.4Tdv8 engine. Done 91,800 miles with a full service history.

Will it have the 8 speed auto gearbox, as the car data check from cazana says gears '6'. Cazana can be a bit rubbish tough.

Any things (above the normal used car checks) to check when i go to collect? The chap is driving it about 3 hours (half way) to meet me, which helps.

Thanks,

I thought “pop up” knob was always 8speed.
Does it have paddles? Easy way to check is use paddles look at the dash.
Don’t know when they came in but thought it was 2011 may have been late 2010 though.

8 Speed gearbox is due an oil change at 144 K miles or 9 years iirc.
That is not cheap. As it needs specific oil.

Plus check it has ahad tbox and diff oil changes.
Plus service history is up to date.

But, they are lovely to drive and they go like hell when you give them a heavy foot.
Oh the MPG indicator oin the dash lies.

Vogue SE, check the cooled and heated seats work.

Cheers

The car is cheap enough at £9,250 - full service at a main dealer at 88,000, so i'll call them and check what was done - but at this price 'i don't mind having to lay out a few quid' said every range rover driver, ever?

Will co.

Buying it more as a family wagon, my mrs is disabled, and suffers a condition which causes chronic pain, driving any distance as a passenger for her is uncomfortable - hoping this will help.

Don't care, kinda loving the hot weather so anything i can do to speed up climate change is a go from me.

Vogue SE, check the cooled and heated seats work.....and all the other electrics...?

Full service at a LR dealer is £530 .
Gearbox at an indie is approx £550.
Diffs and Tbox iirc £300

at that price, sounds good. if it is all good.
But they are not cheap to run, be careful.

Cheers
