I thought you might be interested in my Leakback Gauge I made today. I identified an injector down with it as you will see from the photos. In the Factors these cost £75 this one cost me all of £8.

Syringes from eBay, some fuel pipe and a backing board - way to go!

Cheers guys I am well pleased with it as I have had a slight Injector fluff for far too long. It only took half an hour to make and showed up quite a significant problem.

All was going well until I swapped the Injector out and then over tightened the collar - snap!!! Aargh hey ho - new one coming tomorrow.

The syringe filled to that level in a matter of seconds so a test worth doing.

I like it but ..................I think you could spot that leakage without a gauge :)

Well you may be right but I was in denial! Ha has to be honest I have been thinking it was all kinds of things but a couple of weeks ago it let go and I had to turn the synergy off to get home. It is surprising how well it runs like that - I must have a we sorted engine apart from this. I agree though it is done leakage

Hey Angeloc, superb piece of kit, well done with that. Always admire people who can come up with cheap homemade kit which is every bit as good as the "proper" stuff at rip-off prices.
