Hi
I have recently purchased a 2001 Discovery manual that has had the suspension airbags removed and replaced with shocks/springs.
The clearance I have got over the tyres to the arches is quite a lot.
I have noticed that the front of the Disco seems to nose down a little while sitting stationary, I cannot find and part numbers on the conversion but the springs are Blue and the Shocks yellow.
Does this sound like anything is wrong or could it of been a conversion with lift?
Any ideas will be appreciated
Thanks
Sean

sounds like its got + 2 lift springs on rear youd be better with std i know bearmach sell them as i got a lift set by mistake

I'd keep it like that if I were you, or lift the front as well.

I have standard air suspension and I'm always having to raise the back end up when off road. Wish it would just stay like that!

Could it be that the old springs on the front have sagged so the back looks higher the case of my disco with coils conversion sits quite level with new springs all round

Cheers for the replies, I have measured the overall clearance from top of tyres to wheel arch as follows:
Tyre size: 235-70-16
NSF: 120mm
NSR: 160mm
OSF: 118mm
OSR 160mm
These were only measured with a tape measure so I wasn't too worried with a slight difference on the fronts....

That definitely looks like a lift.

My dad fitted springs to his Disco 2 and the rear sits too low with the tools he has in it so I'm trying to find some HD springs.

Might be better to just get some 2" HD springs for all round though.
