Hi, I have a leak from the underside of my expansion tank. It appears to be coming from the large hole in the middle underside. I am making the assumption this is some sort of valve outlet, and the valve is stuck. Can this be fixed by a grub screw or do I need a new tank? Furthermore, I did get a tank for my Discovery however, it was missing a pipe connector from the rear underside left quarter, so there are two expansion tank type does anyone know the part number of the tank with two pipe connetors on the underside large front left and smaller return on rear left side?

Thanks for any help.

Hi @Dramatherapist ,

Sounds like yours has the EGR cooler. Now the problem is that mine is also a 2003, but a late 2003 and it does not have the EGR cooler. so it does not have the extra outlet on the Expansion tank. So you are in a bit of a minefield.

If I was you I would call the local LR dealer and ask them to confirm the part number for yours using your reg / VIN number. The only part number I have is PCF101420 , but I think this is the wrong one.

Cheers
