Hi,

I have a Discovery TDi 200 which is purely my onroad legal offroad toy, it needs a new steering wheel as the current one fitted is not really suiting me for offroading ( non standard )

I also have a facelifted Freelander which I really like the steering wheel on, would anyone know if the freelander steering wheel will bolt straight onto my Disco ?? obviously not bothered about the airbag as it would be defunct, seen plenty for sensible money on Flebay etc.....

TIA

Mark.

this is the best i can come up with...

The steering wheel from MGs, Morris, Montego and Maestro cars fit the SIII column. The Morris Ital wheel is the best, as it has finger-grips on the back and is slightly smaller that the LR wheel, without being too small (like the usual car size)

Bit off topic but ......................

I'm sure that this was for sale at Billing this year ........... so did you buy it? .......... or have no success with selling?

With regards the steering wheel ........... i like the original jobby with the big Landy badge in the middle :D

I bought it recently on the Bay of eee

Currently has a tiny Mounterny ? tiny thing fitted

Am looking at a non airbag 300Tdi wheel if I cannot get the freelander one to fit, just have to watch the knee clearance as its a little tighter than standard due to having non standard recaro seats fitted ( sit a little higher )

Thanks for the replies, gives a little more scope to the plan.
