I persevered and did a little bit of reworking and this is the end result. It's not quite Bentley standards of upholstery, or even LR, but I'm actually rather pleased with it now.

Let me have another go to see if I can do it as good again when I swap the new wheel for the one on my vehicle. If I do a job that measures up to standards we can talk

What year/model is yours?

Mines a 2002, and a little bit of a mongrel, started life as a van, then I put a 3 door leather interior in it when it was ~4+1/2 years old, the interior is the two tone beige "Light Smokestone" & "Dark Smokestone" rather than the beige teal combo. That wouldn't matter as both the pre-facelift beige combos had the beige "light smokestone" and black on the leather steering wheel.
