Hi I have a couple of problems with my discovery 300tdi.
First seems like a fuel problem, vehicle starts to loose power and eventually stops. It will start again but then does the same.
I have changed filter and taken fuel pipe off after filter and seem to be getting enough fuel through!
I have also drained any water from rear trap by tank.
I have left fuel cap off incase not enough air is getting in to tank.
The pump does seem to be pumping ok on lever as bled new filter OK.
That is next thing I will change.
Any other ideas ?
Also I keep replacing prop doughnut washers every 6 months. They are getting busted up far to quickly.
I did change prop for second hand one a year ago as old 1 got pretty damaged from prop wacking diff.
Any ideas what could be out to cause this ?
