yep I was the same with my disco,luckily my series is a second car so I dont need to use it everyday. I'm pretty sure you can shift it on here and if you need a hand when buying another there is plenty of advice on here or I could pop over but you will have to look after devil child

Just get the thing repaired if its gonna be a problem getting it done on the cheap!
If you've sunk a load of money into the car already, it doesn't make sense to give it away for scrap money when it clearly not scrap and needs a 200 quid job doing on it!
Then you'll be out kroozin round in the snow in no time
