Hi there i had my discovery 3 2.7 TDV6 SHE 2006 in to get heater plugs replaced but now car leaks oil from drivers side top of engine.had a independant mechanic check the work and pointed out the vacume pipes are missing. I phoned the garage that fixed the heater plugs they stated the vacume pipes are not used on this version of discovery so are not present.
I'm not sure about that.

hi and welcome to the asylum

correct , pipes not used

did they find out what the oil leak was , have they replaced ur engine oil filter by any chance

PS, as a side note , assume ur front and rear belts have been replaced along with the oil pump cover

Hi thanks for the update. Been a bit of a carry on as garage i bought from insist they are not used and the Mobile mechanics who came out to inspect engine said they were most definitely missing. Car going back to garage i bought it from they will try for a 3rd time to sort the issue i will ask about the oil seals and side belts. Car was serviced a week after heater plugs had to be done and leak was there before service and is still present here is hoping 3rd time lucky. Thanks again for the help.
