i took my viscous fan off to help fuel economy and better in cab heat . I do alot of heavy towing & i mean heavy & its never over heated dont even move past half way

Yes a TD5 never had a problem with no fan fitted even in summer that we didnt have
Lads iv just noticed on my TD5 2003 disco that my electric cooling fan (foremost) is burnt out and im guessing its been like this for some time as the 40A fuse in the engine compartment fusebox that supplies the fan is toast so i can only assume that it has been like this for some time...
Anywho my question is that now that i have removed the complete unit (fan motor, impellor, cowling etc) do i need to replace it as the larger engine driven fan is still sucking air through the radiators??
