Discovery 2 rear outriggers.

Hi all. Just recently upgraded my old hippo to a disco 2 and love it. Only problem is that the drivers side rear outrigger is knackered. I've searched high n low all over the interweb n everyone says theyre not manufactured for the disco 2. I can easy get one for a fender but obviously no good. Surely somebody must have had the same problem and if so, what did you do.

if nothing else is available get one cut off a chassis in a breakers yard

I wish I could mate, thankyou regardless for the advice but I've tried almost every breakers yard in the north east and there's no discos around at all. I don't suppose you'd know if a defender one could be modified in any way to make it fit or if there's any other way other than try to fabricate one myself.

I will do mate, thankyou very much, I'll let you know how I get on. Fingers crossed he'll be able to help. Honestly, anyone who can fabricate these could well be onto a winner cos it sounds like they're a nightmare to get hold of.
