I´ve grounded the cable but no succsess, back to square one. I did though manage to start the car with the EKA... what a painful process

Got hold of another receiver box.. swapped it and voila!
Opened up the old one and could see it´s been water inside. A bit of corrotion. The funny thing is that i do not have any sunroof...

I've had this prob with mine . I took out the receiver opened it up cleaned out with electric contact cleaner. Then left it in the house over night (mine was very wet) Found one of them little packets of silica you get in lots for things these day to stop moisture building up then when refitted it the next morning it worked !! Even if you ent got sunroofs condensation is the big killer on the remote receiver .
