As my part of the world seems to be having the wettest Autumn/early Winter for a very long time, naturally my thoughts turn to keeping the water out of my none sun roof (before you ask) Discovery 300tdi.
The current door seals seem to be the stick on variety and are a little weedy. I could replace with standard items but I am wondering if anyone has up rated the door seals and if so with what?
Ta for reading

For seals are normally a push fit, anyway Genuine LR seals if still available are around £80 a door, or there’s the DIY alternative is like the stuff shown below.
Any seal thicker than standard may make fully closing the door difficult, but then I’ve never had a need to find out so might be wrong about that.

I've just gone back in my eBay purchase history to 2017 to find i bought something like this:
eBay item number: 264104471024
I just worked out how much i needed altogether and bought five set lengths that left me a bit over from the four doors but a bit short on the back door but was able to make up the shortfall with an offcut along the top of the back door.
I intended to carefully mitre and glue the square corners at the top of the door and when it came to it, couldn't be bothered. I had no issues with water getting in.
At least not through the door seals.
No, it came in through the sunroof which was closed but pinching a thin cable to grab the camera should it fall off and surprisingly through the heater vent. Actually with hindsite (and photographic evidence) maybe i NOT so surprisingly...

Yes, the ravine at Billing 2018.
Makes me grin every time i look at the picture!
My passenger regularly reminds me the car isn't a submarine!
