Disco transfer box benefits

Could anyone let me know the benefits of putting a disco transfer box into my 90 300tdi. What change in fuel consumption should I expect. Am I likely to have problems with the box wearing quicker etc

youl get a better top speed and should see better (ish) mpg

its on my lists of many mods to do next

i think the 1.222 raises the gearing buy 15%, search ashcroft transmissions in google, they have info and reasons to fit the 1.222 Tbox
