TD5 Replacement Turbo? - Recommendations would be gratefully received.

Thanks to Members who offered advice on my increased Disco TD5 oil consumption question/post - 16 Jan 2024.

Having considered the advice, I think it is most likely to be the turbo. I am planning to buy a new turbo cartridge.

I have seen several on www.ebay.co.uk. The cheapest ones appear to be Chinese made. Can anyone offer advice? Are these ones any good (the vehicle is a 2003 model). If not, what should I buy?

I bought a London Turbo a few weeks ago from Ebay... very pleased with it, but it didnt solve my issue. So I kept my old one, and didnt get the deposit back. They say you also lose your guarantee, but unless you can prove you bought all the parts they require replacing from a dealer, they wont warrany it anyway. It was only £30 and I now have a good old spare.....
