Disco TD5

Hi all, my names Chris from the West Mids and I have just purchased my 1st Discovery, a TD5 ES. Its a 2001 with 108K on the clock. I have heard that they will run quite happily on alternative fuel, also the Govt. have removed duty on biofuel for the first 2500 litres. I,ll get to the point. Can I run this fuel continuously?, do i need any mods? and will it run on 30 second heating oil( I have been told this is diesel but cleaner. Is it legal?) Has any one got a recipe for bio fuel they would be willing to share? I wait with baited breath for any responses. Best wishes Chris.
