hi all my father going to try and do a PAS pump this week parts should be here tomorrow he also going to try and do the height sensors anyway are the PAS pumps easy enough to fit and is there any known problems whilst fitting

Hi Sam, your dad will need to separate the pulley from the pas pump - it is held on with 3 or 4 bolts - and it is best done BEFORE REMOVING THE DRIVE BELT. The belt tensioner is on the left hand side low down and needs a 15mm socket and a long breaker bar and you need to turn it anti -clockwise to reduce belt tension.

Don't forget to tell him that when he is about to start work on the ride height sensors, disconnect the battery neg lead before touching the sensors and reconnect AFTER the new sensors are in place and connected.
 
ty buddie he is doing the height sensors but i found a man called oli (ely mobile mechanic) he got bloody good reviews and charges £25 a hr labour so he coming friday to do the PAS will let u know how it goes
