Disco surprise

Just wondering what other surprises people have found with there discos after I found out that if I push the lock button on my fob then push and hold it my head lights come on then push it again they go off but it does not tell you it in hand book I believe it's a get you home feature so if you park on your drive at night you can light up your front door to get in wondered what other people have found as an extra?

Hold lock button down- headlights come on (but will go off on their own after 20-30 seconds.

yes it does, read at Controls and instruments - Locks and alarms :

Headlight courtesy delay
When locking the vehicle, the remote handset
can be used to illuminate the headlights for 30
seconds. At night this will make it easier for you
to unlock the garage, or walk to your house in
safety. Operate this feature at the same time as
you lock the car, by keeping the handset LOCK
button pressed for more than 2 seconds (the
doors lock and alarm system arms in the usual
way).
To extinguish the lights before the 30 second
illumination period has expired, press the lock
button again.

my mate had a car once if u hit the steering wheel he could turn the car off lol. not really a feature kept us entertained at traffic lights when he had road rage lol

Hi just some useless information. On the climate control panel if you push the air circulation button (3 arrows) first and hold it in then the on off button holding both buttons in at the same time you can change the temperature reading from celsius to fahrenheit or fahrenheit to celsius.

On the subject of surprises but not LR-related; I bought an S-type recently (beautiful car) and you have the press and hold to keep the lights on; but also on another button of the remote you have press 'n hold to open or close all the windows simultaneously.

Cool huh?

I'm just wondering what I'm going to find next - better stop looking I think in case it's not good news - Jaguar is the sister company of LR after all !

these are the surprises on english cars...but at least you have surprises with them.... you'll not have the same surprises with an italian car...cos it's not a surprise that everything goes wrong
