Hi there I posted on here the other day to say I was having problems with my discovery the back end slides out on the corners when driving on the road. Somebody said to jack one wheel up on the front and try spinning it with and without the diff lock on the front was fine but I did the same with the rear and the wheel was locked up with and without the diff lock on. Can some one let me know what they think the problem is. Thanks

Either replace the diff unit or buy a secondhand axle and replace the lot (2nd option probably easier) ;)

I think I would rather just change the diff, pull the half shafts out, prop off and a ring of bolts.

It might be a nightmare trying to get all them rods off and the ball joint above the axle off, and the shocks which will be rusted on to fook, yuc.

Tell you what bet its great off road tho.:)
