i there, was wondering if anyone can help me!!! im starting to pull my hair out with my disco!!! (lol and im bald)!!
i had some diesel giving to me by a mate, from his work site, but the diesel had been contamiented with water!!
my disco is a Rreg 300tdi which was fly by wire!!
ive changed the injection pump for a manual one, took off the EGR valve, and changed the cambelt, took off and cleaned out the sediment bowl at the back i also took the tank off complete emptied then dried out with paper towels, and left dry in the sun!!! my disco is an auto, so had to get arm (bracket) to fit the manual pump for the kick down cable, and the vac pipe from the back of the injecting pump to the back of the turbo!!
right the problem ive got is the disco starts first turn of the key, but when reved up, it chucks out loads of blue smoke and then stalls!! but starts first turn again, so dont think its timing???
i thought it seems if its sucking air somewhere???
any ideas???
ANYONE PLEASE!!!!
:confused::confused:
thanku paul

was it running fine before adding fuel or other problems too put to check for air put a piece of clear pipe in the filter to injection pump line you will see if air is been sucked in if it is bypass sedimentor passenger side pipe on sender unit under boot floor to inside pipe drivers side rear wheel arch
