Hi can anyone advise me how to repair/disarm/destroy my alarm immobilser. My disco is the early 1994 model, I parked it up one evening, all was fine next morning major problems. There was a painful screeching from the right hand side of the dashboard. I called the A.A. the patrolman spent nearly 90 minutes with his lap top and mobile phone at hand, in fairness I thought that he tried really hard, but to no avail. Finally I asked him to give me a tow to see if we could bump start it, lo and behold success. Can any of you clever persons advise me preferably how to repair it, failing that these bypass plugs that remote key sell. Do they work and will my disco start and will the electric windows work with the aforesaid plug. I have solved the starting problem by running a live feed to the starter relay in the passenger footwell. Cheers Les
