disco 98 2.5td engine swap help please

hi all and thnaks for having me here im new owner thats recently swapped engines but need some assistance

i have swapped the same engine over accept i forgot to check fuel pump old one did not have a pat unit or what ever its called on the fuel pump itys little black unit with the connector plug on
i have now changed the clutch and fitted new timing belt and engine is now back in the car and only just realised the above will she still be able to start

also some clown cut all wiring before engine came out so what i need of anyone that can help

is pictures showing which way the full electric harness for the engine runs

so i can fit it back the way its supposed to be
discovery is a 98 2.5tdi

any info needed i can get

if its just security box over solenoid you will need to break it off and attach a single ignition live to solenoid egr doesnt need connecting (throttle pot on throttle mechanism on top front of pump)the rest like oil pressure and temp etc are same as before,if you have edc with wire on no4 injector fuel injection pump will have to be swapped

thanks i think i get first part
explain edc on n04 mate also a few piuctures of how wiring harness goes would be brill as i bought her with the old broken engine in and the harness cut so i dont know wiring direction

some 300 tdis are edc which is electronic controlled pump you cant run it as edc so if yours was injection pump would need swapping for std pump,wire on no4 injector is just a vway of knowing it is or not ,
