I am selling my lovely disco4xs with 74k on the clock. Bourneville with cream leather. Great condition. It had light panel damage on drivers side, all fixed now and drives as it should.
Only selling as I have too many landrovers!

Im a bit short...wondered if you'd be prepared to come down a bit.

Have been doing the maths and I have £89.88 til payday ....in the season of goodwill and spirit of Christmas can I have it for that ?

A cat D is not a write off, doesn't even need an inspection to go back on the road. Mine was a cat D, it had front and rear bumper damaged.

Cat D is still a write off or it wouldn't be a cat D. It still means the insurance company paid out and wrote it off as uneconomical to repair.

Cat C and D for cars didn't need any inspection years ago but they changed the rules so a cat C need a check so it dosnt end up a ringer some years ago.

Yes, you are of course quite correct. Mine needed a new front/rear bumper which in itself is not too much, but add the cost of labour and it becomes uneconomical to repair. Buying a Cat D will get you a good deal providing you repair the vehicle yourself, presumably what the seller did in this case.

the problem is selling it. the general public are not interested in buying a write off, so you need to flog it really really cheap, break or scrap it.

They must have an expensive bodyshop to write off a 20k for light damage on the drivers door.

Saying that looks a good job in the pic and I would love it but got to stick with trusty old 300tdi :( unless a zero was knocked off the price lol

Depends how hard the knock was and where. Throw a couple of airbags in there which a am sure a disco 4 has many, a dent and a scratch all down one side from let's say a barrier?
