Disco 300tdi for sale spares or repair

NOW SOLD!! Discovery 300tdi 3dr finished in rioja red met with grey cloth interior

Engine is cream crackered, water pump failed & cooked the engine inc pistons

Car has mot & tax until oct 2012, covered 140k drove v.well & everything worked. Has alarm imobiliser fitted, compomotive alloys. Solid floors, sills & wings. Too good to break, just needs another 300tdi dropping in!

Bad points has some corrosion on bumpers and osr quarter which has been diy painted

Im after £500 for the motor otherwise i'll repair it myself

Id get £250 for it at the yard, but to break it would easily do £800+ or £1000+ with a new lump back on the road!

So £500, then the new buyer would need £350-£400 for a new engine plus fitting charge lets say £300 leaving a total of £1150-£1250 total…….for that you might as well buy a good one on ebay and have money left over for repairs

Try find a good solid one on ebay for less than £1500, engines are £150 upwards and fitting plus consumable would be £150 again. There a piece of cake to fit!

mate of mine sold his v solid and rust free(honest) R plate 300tdi last week after over a month of advertising and struggled to get £1300 for it and that was the ES model.

Sorry mate yours isn't worth £500 without an engine, Repair it yourself and get a lot more for it as a runner with t&t.

That's yer problem ^^^

Last month I gave 1100 for a 300tdi ES spec auto....I bought a donor one with no sills left for under 500 quid so I don't think you've got much of a chance at that price...

Item now sold via ebay
