Hi all,
Apologies if this query has been posted before and I missed it.
Need some advice regrding my Disco - N plate 300 TDi with a paltry 90000 miles on the clock - nearly everything is original replaced all the original tyres about 5000 miles ago and a new exhaust fitted at the same time, only mention this to show that the previous owners had obviously, to a certain degree, treated the wagon with a lot of care.
My problems at the moment are several fold as listed below
1) drivers seat seems to have collapsed so I seem to spend most of my time hoisting myself back into a comfortable position - have been told it could be the diapraghm (sp?) does this sound likely and is ti easy to rectify?
2) When lifting off at speed (ie 40+) the wagon pulls hard the tyres to the left - as already mentioned the tyres are all new, balanced nicely and holding pressure well
3) At lower speeds when over-running there is a squealing noise from somewhere at the front of the wagon - have checked tensions on all the belts and these seem fine
4) Have just done a longish run (100+ miles) on motorway and again in over-run there is a deep low graunching noise sounds like a bearing but have checked and they seem ok (surely the noise would be there all the time if it was a bearing). the noise got progressively worse on the journey and had to stop short of my destination to check all was ok - no hubs hot or anything obvious.
Apologies if I have broken any forum rules (either explicit or implicit) just want to get the wagon back and rolling well
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
