Hard on the heels of the great advice and tips on my sinking Disco 3, that I was so grateful for I thought I would chance it on this ?
Bit of a strange one !
I have titled the thread as the only way I can describe the noise ?
Allow me to start at the beginning:
06 Disco 3 2.7 TDV6
130K ish miles
When driving I am getting a sheeeeeeesh noise when on the gas
stops when I come off the pedal
Comes back when foot on the pedal at steady speed
slight lift - it stops.
Does not occur when stationery or starting etc.
Does not seem to effect performance in any way
A pal suggested drive shaft guards ?
another thought Turbo hoses ( I have replaced all now)
any thought or suggestions most welcome . . . .
