Bought this vehicle with the intention of getting it back on road as the only faults were dented bonnet cracked windscreen and iffy air suspension.managed to get our heads round suspension and got it working, problem is the clutch has now gone,I don’t know wether it needs bleeding or replacing and I’ve neither the time or the funds to replace it so after a bit of pressure of the wife I’ve decided to move it on .
As I’ve said there is a crack in the windshield and a couple of dints in the bonnet ( both from an altercation with a falling tree limb) .SE model so full electric trim .7 seats .161k on clock .engine runs nice with no knocks or visible oil leaks .tow bar not included.just wanting back what it owes me £1250 .will obviously need to be trailered away ( Penrith,Cumbria)

Hi mate don't take a penny less than your price even at 160k worth that for the engine alone, one you can hear running, shame your so far away would be interested myself good luck

In cycling circles we have the N+1 rule ( the number of bikes you own plus 1 new yet in purchased one ) ,tell her it’s for her .
Also selling a diagnostic tool ( I’ve put it up on parts thread )

Trouble is, you paid £1250, but if it needs a new clutch and windscreen there's probably £2k needed for that...
You might be best looking for the scrap value, or strip it for parts...?

Slow burn repair but got to point of not having enough time to do anything with it ,transfer box and exhaust taken off so part way there .if some wants a project I’ll let it go for £700 cash

Work needed on bonnet, windscreen, slave cylinder/clutch / transfer box / exhaust.....
But what's an 18yr-old broken disco worth? £700 to you, but in reality ... -
A sensible offer will come from the scrappie who will collect...
They have the time and experience to make a bit of money recycling it.
Just be shot of it, let it go, take the loss, lesson learned...
buy the next one carefully...
