hi there everyone, well my v8 has out grown the depth of my pockets and i need to either fit an lpg kit or go for rpi optimax ecu chip.

has anyone out there had an experience of the optimax chip, its claimed to increase mpg increase power and the remapping is supposed to make it much more drivable.

does it bring it into the economy (due to half price fuel) of an lpg kit, or are the claims exagerated.

If you cant afford a v8,buy a TDI or swop your v8 for an LPG converted v8.Dont give RPI any money, they are not in business to help you, just to make money. They dont seem to know what they are on about either if you read into thier website.....

Hello from Greece,

as i have searched a lot here in Greece with lpg conversions and i'm not satisfied, do you have any company to suggest so i can contact and import the parts from uk directly? My car is a Disco 1 Mpi 2,0lt turbo modified. 240bhp/36,5kg torque/program

ive discovered through various forums the optimax chip is supplied by mark adams at v8 management systems who fits chip and sets it up on a rolling road...

from all signs though fuel economy is not doubled like the half price lpg fuel saving so i believe i will lpg convert it, single point...

anyone have any pointers to a good supplier of a home fit kit please...
