Hi today my rear air bag exploded , not a big deal done them before i got a new one fitted it thought that would be it, old bag completely blown apart. Started car the new bag inflated to its full height lifting that corner and tilting the car, the bag on the other side had no air in at all, the bag would not come down again so i loosened the fittings on the valves by the compressor the bag went down, the compressor then refused to work, i took it off and on the bench it runs fine, put it back on and it sent the new bag to full lift again, let it back down, there was still no air in other bag, with the main plug to the compressor disconnected i used a separate battery and conected to compressor the pump ran and filled both bags evenly, i stopped it at ride height and its stayed there, i think the height sensor is faulty on the new bag side but would this stop the other side working

Hi, The usual advice when changing the RHS is to disconnect the battery to save loosing the settings. But as you have the means to re-calibrate them probably not so much of a neccesity.
