Hi I'm new to discos so here is my problem.
I have grease covering the inside of the rear brake disk but am not sure whether it has migrated past the hub seal just behind the hub flange. After removing the disc large lumps of grease were on the inside of the disc but I could not see anything on the back of the hub flange. I assume this is the position of the inner seal and requires hub replacement if faulty.
The bearings seem fine (no play), but I do have an ABS sensor issue on that hub which I changed without effect.
Is there a way of checking the hub is is it a case of checking dif. levels and keeping an eye on it?
Is a hub change something I could do at home without a puller?
Thanks Mike
