Do u have the difflock spigot on your transfer box?...cos if not u'll need more than a linkage...and not the traction controll wire is what u have to cut but the difflock input in the SLABS ECU... which is not needed on facelift models.

yes but if you dnt cut the wire none of these will work as it brings 3 amigos on unless its got it programmed already in .. this is why im asking do i need to cut ...

so now its time to find a good used disco one linkage from sum where thanks every one

Be aware that the D1 linkage will allow more noise and vibration into the cabin, aswell as that it will not be sealed to the cars transmission tunnel, letting in dust and water.

so all i have to do then is connect it all up and its ready to go yeah i have the difflock option but not connected thanks

Thats interesting if your D2 has the center diff lock internals inside the transfer box, as it was " supposedly "ommited from about mid 01 onwards.

to fit disco 1 linkage you need to fit the disco 1 gearbox top as well as lever housing bolts to it,and be worth checking if disco 1 rubber gaiter fits too

This is the genuine one.

And heres one I made next to it.

They are a LOT of money, ( if you can find them ), but they are the best way to operate the cdl on a D2 .

well it leaked oil constanly and i could grab the both ends the out putts hold one side and the other side would turn about 45 degrees before other side moved so i swapped it out for a new one
