Disco 1 Wiring issue - radio/interior lights

Hey hey,

Installed a new cd head unit in my disco one - everything was working perfectly until I decided to take it back out to improve the fitment. When I plugged all of the leads back in and mounted it in the dash to turn it on, it only flickered on and off a little bit.

Testing all of the connections with a testing lamp shows that the accessory wire is fine, but that the main live connection is either receiving very little power, or has no power at all running through it.

I have tested the cd unit fuse (and all of the other ones!) and everything appears to be fine. The wire with weak/no power running though it disappears into a wiring loom and I can't trace it back any further.

Coincidentally, the interior dome lights are no longer working. I'm assuming these are on the same fuse/wire? Can't find the fuse for interior lights listed in the handbook.

Have look at fuse 20 it may have blown.

The fuses under the steering wheel only go upto 18... Are there more elsewhere? It's on an M plate.

(Checked fuses under bonnet too - all seem fine)

Fuse B1 apparently

Also...

Not sure if it's relevant but the rear electric windows don't work either. They used to work from the rear switches but only intermittantly at the front, but now they don't work from either?

SOLVED: Fuse 6 in Sat 1. Dunno how I missed it.
