hi all, i have a disco 1 and the oil light has started flashing on and off yet the oil is ok, and all of a sudden after a long journey the heater is not blowing hot air and yet i changed the thermostat not long ago ? can any one help please :)

Check the hoses are getting how when the engine is running and what condition is your oil in, it could be as simple as knackered pump and oil sender. How hot does the temp gauge go?

well that's a good question......when i put the lights on, or indicate the temp goes to red but then goes back down when i switch them off ?

Correct oil level doesn't mean correct oil pressure. Could be a dodgy switch or chaffed wire or could be telling the truth. If you can, get a proper oil pressure gauge on there just to confirm you don't have a major issue, second best replace the switch and cross fingers or go hunting for damaged wires. You then need to get gauges reading properly. Lack of hot air could be many things, air lock, control cables detached, low coolant, thermostat jammed open (though would give you some warm air)
