How easy is it to dismantle the front grille area to look at a loose rattling fan ???

3/5 screws and a bit of wiggling.

Thanks Mad Hatter
Now looked at the fan , it seems to be loose on its mountings Looked at the front thinking a bolt holding it on however i found a spring and can't workout how to tighten the dammed thing /

Are you talking about the viscous fan? just behind the radiator. Or are you talking about the electric fans (that are part of the aircon system) in front of the rad?
Incidentally, what are the vehicle details?
