dip stick measurements Oeps

Hello Could someone whom has a 1.8

measure the max filling height on his dipstick?

At my dipstick the plastic tip at the end was breaking apart.... ( most probably due to a former hadgasket failure with the former owner as I know they had to replace it last year before I bought it)

So I removed all plastic parts so now I only have the bear metal, but I do not know for sure where the max and min marks where

You'd be better off buying a new dip stick as i can bet that the metal part probably wouldn't have gone all the way into the plastic when it was moulded anyway.

Get yourself down to a scrappy, any dipstick off an old Rover K series will do. Even the 1.4's / 1.6's found in your Rover 25's or 200's.
