Want to fit the digital heater control in my 2000 discovery td5 what else will i need please have got the digital control any advice much appreciated thanks.
 
Do you mean the air conditioning console?

There will be more parts to fit in addition to the control panel itself as this panel will use motors to control the heat output and air selection between screen/face/feet, these parts or not likely to be in place as standard as I would imagine the twisty dail type heater controls are cable operated.
 
yes i have been looking looks like i will have to buy either blender motors or a full heater assembly any one out there got any of these,thanks
 
There is alot more to it than just the heater box and control panel.......

Dash wiring will be different.
You'll need to fit air con as most vehicles without climate control didn't have it.
Ambient air temp sensor will be missing.
Center dash parts to mount the HEVAC panel will be different.

yup u will need to change almost everything :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
Mine has got air con as it is an xs. I have been looking and i think the wiring is right it just has not got the sensors fitted but the conections look to be there, thanks for the imput
