Hallo everyone, I just got a old Santana 109 especial from 1982, is actually almost identically to a series three Landrover..

Trying it off road I noticed, that the rear Differential seem to be broken since the rear driveshaft turns without turning any rear wheel...

Now I am planing to drive down to central Africa next year, I probably don`t need a proper Differtail look (bit too complicadet and expensive with a compressor) but the Detroit Truetrac seems to be a good thing. Does any one have experience with a Detroit or nows some other good alternatives?

Do you now is a Sanatana 109 or a Series three Landrover has a Salisbury axle?

Thanks:behindsofa:

I have a detroit locker in a salisbury axle 4.7:1 ratio however its coil sprung very very good fit and forget however you do get some slight handling due to the inside wheel being driven all the time at 100% ratio unlike being split in a normal diff
