I’m in the process of trying to revert to air suspension as I want the auto levelling.

The compressor is building pressure and all the valves seem to be working fine through nanocom. I am yet to actually install the airbags as I want to get the system all running before I do that.

I’m having a couple of what feel weird issues...

1) I’m getting different readings form the sensors. They are in roughly the right place but due to the old brackets being removed due to chassis repair they are not exactly in the right position. But near enough. Lt side is about 60 Rt about 170... they’re not that far off! Is there anything in the wiring that could be causing this?

2) I can’t get either the ORM or height warning lights to illuminate. I’ve checked for tape over the LED’s and even iso g nanocom to force them on, they’re still not lighting... any ideas please?

Are the sensors both new and if yes what brand?

Was the vehicle set to air when you tried that? and what you means by "height warning"?

Both sensors are new but unbranded...
in hindsight I need to swap them over and see if they’re giving the same readings.

It’s lights 2 & 4 below. Yes, it’s set to air. Is there a fuse that would cause some of the system to be off but allow the compressor/valves to still function? My logic was the compressor works so the system is live but I may be wrong...

If you forced the lights via SLABS with nanocom check in BCU -settings - instrument pack if the SLS is not disabled... swapping the sensors is a good move, while you do that check the pins in the vehicle's connectors cos those used o wear out hence these kits so well sold https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Discover...rs-Harness-Connector-Repair-Kit-/151466538011

anyway the height readings are not very important, as long as the vehicle is on even level and you save the target heights as they are then the SLS works well you are OK regardless of differencies... though i've seen many cases when aftermarket sensor were DOA especially chinese ones like your's
 
That’ll teach me for thinking that Land Rover would put all the settings for the SLS under the SLabs section... thanks for that, I’m working tomorrow but I’ll get it plugged back in on Tuesday and check under the BCU settings. I shall report back once I’ve swapped the sensors. Thank you very much for yet more invaluable help.

Actually LR did that cos with main dealer's Testbook or Hawkeye which are on the same protocol once you set i to air it activates the warnings too but nanocom has a particular way of doing things and can communicate separately with the warning lamps management through the BCU which Testbook can't :confused:
 
Just a quick update on this for anyone else that sees this, I ordered a couple more sensors from JSG4x4 and still had issues on the left side so ordered replacement sensor plugs which sorted the issue.
